Southgate is not a condo. Southgate is a PUD/Homeowners Association. All homeowners must have an HO3 Home insurance policy. Southgate Homeowners Association must be listed as an additional insured or interest. This is for the safety and protection of all.

PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE- the feeding of wildlife within the complex invites all kinds of critters to dine here. Please be mindful that this creates an unnecessary burden that is costly to control, damaging to property and sometimes dangerous. Do not feed the wildlife.

COUPON BOOKS- If you do not plan on using your coupon books, due to electronic banking, please return them to the office. They will be recycled.

Please be reminded that residents are not permitted to wash their cars with soap. It is also prohibited to allow contractors/pet cleaners/ carpet cleaners to empty anything into the drains. All drains empty into the ponds and damage the ponds and wildlife living in the ponds.
Anyone in violation will be fined.

EXTERMINATOR- If you need an exterminator, please call the office to schedule an appointment. We have a contract with an exterminator and the serviced is included in your contract. If you call your own exterminator, the cost is your responsibility.

AIR CONDITIONERS- When installing a new air conditioner, heat pump or hot water heater, please obtain a permit from the Village of Massapequa Park. It is for your safety that a building inspector looks at the work done in your home. Once a permit is obtained, bring it to the office for Board approval. Thank You
Preventing Clutter
In an effort to reduce clutter from the complex, we have requested that all Pennysaver circulars be delivered to the Clubhouse and not to individual driveways. Please come to the clubhouse to pick up your circular. They will be thrown out at the end of each week.
Going Green - Notifications
As of January 1st, all notifications will be put on the website. Any emergency notifications will be sent out via calling post. These messages will be sent to your house phone, cell phone and email.
This effort will help to reduce the use of paper, ink and manual labor.
PICKLE BALL
Come out and join your neighbors for a fun filled game of Pickle ball. Pickle ball is a game resembling tennis in which players use paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball over a net. It is comfortably paced and yet offers a challenge. Games are played on Fridays, at 10:00 a.m. at the tennis courts, until the weather permits. Anyone who has played has truly enjoyed it. We look forward to seeing you!!
